A fail-safe lightweight, Tencel™ blend, long sleeve, collared button-down shirt cut to a classic fit. Fashion women’s Rails Ingrid shirtĪnother staple style from Rails is the Ingrid shirt. Tencel™ is also biodegradable and compostable. It is known to use less water and energy in the process, reducing its environmental impact. Rails uses Tencel within their fabrication a lot and specifically within the Loren style, Tencel™ is a fabric produced from sustainably grown wood and recycled chemicals. The most popular Loren styles have featured a distressed star print, whimsical Woodstock-style embroidery and metallic gold embroidered star details. This classic style has seen many revamps and updates over the seasons and has become a pinnacle style for the brand. The Loren shacket is a soft military inspired shirt jacket that can be worn open with your favourite tee or buttoned up. As soft as cashmere but used to a classic shirt silhouette, Rayon-blend fabrication has become a main staple for the brand. Moving on into modern day, Rails create timeless classics with high focus on the fabrication and garment production of each style every season. The breakthrough for the brand happened when Abrams used an innovative new fabrication of Rayon-blend for shirting which hadn’t done before. To begin Abrams bought a hat which he stitched a Rails logo to and a test-run at creating a hoodie which didn’t go to plan but fans appreciated the style and aesthetic and loved the message behind the brand. Without a technical background in fashion or design, Abrams was travelling Europe on the Eurorails when the idea of what we now know and love as Rails began. Founded in 2008 by Jeff Abrams, Rails was created from a passion to design and merge Southern California lifestyle with the more refined approach of the European aesthetic.
